Pigged out in Singapore

So I went to Singapore with two friends for a friend's wedding, during the 4 days in Singapore we went on a beast mode and ate around.

On the first night we met up with Nigel and Weiqi and went to Telok Ayer Market aka Lau Pa Sat for dinner, each one of us picked a different dish, the fish ball soup is my favorite. I like the location of this market, and food are cheap compare to other places.

Of course that's not gonna be enough for us (Yes, we eat a lot), so right after Lau Pau Sat we went to Boon Tong Kee which long known for chicken rice for more food! But it wasn't as good as I expected.

On the second day we decided to go to Garden by the Bay, before we head over we went to Ya Kun for the famous Kaya toast. We ordered a set meal which came with raw egg and soy sauce but I prefer eating the toast on its own.

We took circle line to Bayfront station then walked over to Garden by the Bay, it worths a visit if you like flowers.
We went to Bakerzin for food afterwards which is located at the the back of Garden by the Bay, the food was very average and staffs were unhelpful, don't bother going if you are going Garden by the Bay.

So after the disappointed meal we decided to go Lau Pa Sat again for fish ball soup, then we met up with few other friends to go 328 Katong for laksa and chicken legend for coconut rice, two places are just next to each other, it was another disappointment!

The wedding day finally came, we took the taxi over since we didn't know our way, the venue was called The White Rabbit, it is a restaurant and bar housed in a restored chapel off Dempsey Road. I loved the interior so much, it was transformed from a church to restaurant - high ceiling, mosaic floor tiles and stained glass windows. Food was nice from starter to dessert, it was such a lovely day seeing some old friends again!
