Nando's sweet potato mash recipe


I’m not going to let the fact that I have really BAD photos of this sweet potato mash stop me from blogging about it. It was just as good as Nando's one. I love things that make with sweet potato, sweet potato mash, sweet potato tong shui, sweet potato ice cream etc. they just taste sooooo good!


Ingredients: (for a small portion)

sweet potato 200g
butter 15g
sugar 20g
whipping cream 2tbsp
a pinch of salt
egg yolk 1



Method:


1. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into uniform sized chunks and put in a saucepan of boiling water to boil for 15 minutes or so until tender.
2. Preheat oven to 180C
3.than add butter and mash them with a fork or a potato masher.
4. add sugar, cream and egg yolk to the mash
5. Bake it for 20-25mins
6. here you go! nando's sweet potato mash

  1. Made this tonight with baked cod and steamed broccoli. Added a little salt and lemon juice, as the recipe is almost dessert-like! Loved it anyway. Thanks!
