Crispy Fried Wonton With Home Made Chilli Sauce



Wonton is the delicious and unique Chinese Food, you can either Deep fried it or make it with soup. Deep fried wonton is an ideal snack for me, it is nice if it served with the dipping sauce. Here's a delicious chive leaf wonton recipe suitable for light breakfast or snack .
Ingredients:
1 packet of wonton wrappers (square ones)
*  1 pound minced pork
*chive leafs – finely chopped
*  2 tbsp of light soy sauce
*1/2 tsp. sesame oil
 *Salt and pepper to taste


Method:
Mix all the * ingredients together
1.)  Prepare the filling, place about 1 tsp filling in the center of the skin. Brush water to the edges. Seal it tight in a triangle shape, seal the two edge together & make a tight pocket
2.)  Repeat until filling is finished
3.)  Heat up oil in a deep heavy skillet over medium heat
4.)  Fry wonton for a few minutes on each side or until golden brown.
5.) Remove and drain oil on paper towels. Serve with chili dipping


LOL guinea pig was screaming for food at the end.

The wontons can be prepare ahead of time up to cooking stage and refrigerated or frozen. Bring the wontons back to room temperature before deep-frying.
